Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi, during the question hour to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, emphasised that by the end of 2026, funds for the needs of the Defence Forces will be available in full. Responding to MPs' questions regarding the sufficiency of money for the army and weapons, the head of the government assured:
«Так, грошей вистачить в повній мірі для Сил оборони. Це основний фокус. Все для цього здійснюється» (Yes, there will be enough money in full for the Defence Forces. This is the main focus. Everything is being done for this).
Koretskyi noted that obtaining macro-financial assistance from partners requires parliamentary involvement. He recalled that the week before last showed good results: laws were passed that provide grounds to expect the arrival of at least €4 billion as early as November.
Overall, the funding need is approximately €29 billion. The government has fulfilled all its commitments, which also accounts for a significant share of the planned receipts in November.
However, according to the Prime Minister, difficult draft laws still remain in parliament that must be adopted by the next session week at the latest. Koretskyi warned that any delays would result in these funds not arriving by the end of the year, which would create problems with payments, particularly under the resilience plans.
«Але для Сил оборони загрози у виплатах немає. Я гарантую, що ми виплатимо абсолютно всі видатки» (But there is no threat to payments for the Defence Forces. I guarantee that we will pay absolutely all expenditures), he concluded.
