Haidchenko: debtor may lose home over 430,000 hryvnia utility debt

In Ukraine, there is a risk of losing housing for citizens who have accumulated significant debt for utility services. If the amount of the debt reaches 430,000 hryvnia, the debtor's property may be put up for sale.

Position of the Ministry of Justice representative

Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Andriy Haidchenko stated the possibility of such a scenario. He confirmed that upon reaching the specified threshold of debt for housing and communal services, the housing may be sold.
