Spanish-language version disappears from White House website

Spanish-speaking users of the White House website encountered an unexpected surprise: the section in their language had been removed. When attempting to access it, a button labelled “Go Home” appears, which can be translated as “Return to the main page” or, in a more ironic interpretation, “Go back home”.

This move came against the backdrop of a series of controversial actions by Donald Trump. Previously, he declared a state of emergency at the border with Mexico, where Spanish is the primary language. 

In addition, the president threatened to impose trade tariffs on Spain, mistaking it for South Africa.
