Report of damage to champion's residence
The Kyiv residence of the famous Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usyk sustained damage due to a Russian attack. His wife, Kateryna Usyk, published details and visual evidence of the incident on social media.
In the photos posted on Instagram, it is clearly visible that the surface of the glass doors or window block is covered with numerous cracks. Captioning the photo, Kateryna used the English word "home" and a broken heart emoji, which underscores the emotional response to the situation.
Family was abroad
The exact time when the damage occurred has not yet been established. It is known that the Usyk family was abroad for a certain period. Kateryna announced their return to Ukraine only recently, which means they were not at the scene of the incident at the time of the strike.
Not the first case of destruction
The war has not for the first time caused damage to the boxer's family property. At the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, their home in Vorzel sustained serious damage. At that time, this territory was under temporary occupation by Russian troops.
