Clarification on the perpetrator's military status

Krzysztof Jan Klęczar, the Voivode of Lesser Poland Voivodeship, officially announced that the individual who committed the murder of six people in Krakow was not serving in the Polish army. This information served as a response to the spread of rumours regarding the attacker's possible military affiliation.

No link to territorial defence

In his statement, Krzysztof Jan Klęczar also emphasised that the perpetrator had no connection whatsoever to the Territorial Defence Forces of Poland.

Reaction to information about the uniform

Such questions arose after data emerged indicating that the attacker was wearing camouflage uniform. The voivode's statement was a response to this information.
