The National Guard head clarified the functional purpose of the facility that became the subject of discussion. According to him, it is a building used as a temporary deployment point for a unit. Mobilised citizens are transported here via Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centres (TRSSC).
Pivnenko described in detail the process of processing military personnel after their arrival. First, the personnel undergo registration, after which they are sent to the Basic Military Training Unit. The next stage is coordination, and the final step is distribution to units based on the commander's decision.
The military official emphasised that it is not guaranteed that all newly arrived individuals will be assigned to assault units. He explained that the National Guard is acutely short of specialists of various profiles, in particular drone operators.
