Right Sector activists' bail paid by Ucrop members

This morning, Right Sector leader Dmytro Yarosh announced that bail funds for two Odesa activists, Serhiy Sterenko and Ruslan Demchuk, had been found. It has now emerged that the funds were provided by members of the Ucrop party.

тут я вчера написал что за освобождение детей из одесского правого сектора был назначен вполне взрослый залог. так как сами члены этой страшной организации способны максимум купить себе пачку сигарет, то они объявили сбор средств. на это сразу откликнулся Gennady Korban, который никого из них до этого в глаза не видел. и внес всю сумму. большое ему за это спасибо. в первую очередь от них, для которых это было как гром среди ясного неба. и конечно же от меня. это достойный поступок. спасибо, геннадий. (Here I wrote yesterday that a rather substantial bail was set for the release of the children from the Odesa Right Sector. Since the members of this terrifying organisation can at best afford to buy themselves a pack of cigarettes, they launched a fundraising appeal. Gennady Korban, who had never seen any of them before, immediately responded. He paid the full amount. Many thanks to him for this. First and foremost from them, for whom this was like a bolt from the blue. And of course from me. This is a worthy deed. Thank you, Gennady.)

The close link between the Right Sector and Ucrop has been known for a long time, so there is no reason to be surprised by what happened. Moreover, such a high-profile case is another chance to gain additional votes in the upcoming elections.
