Sentence for trash streamer

A court in Poland has sentenced trash streamer and far-right activist Wojciech Olshanski, who goes by the nickname Yashchir, to three months in prison. The basis for this decision was his commission of a crime related to inciting hatred on national grounds.

Case context

This sentence is just one of many criminal proceedings being considered in connection with Olshanski's activities. The streamer gained public attention for his regular statements containing antisemitic and pro-Russian motives.

Political activity and charges

Olshanski is also known as the leader of the nationalist movement Rodacy Kamraci. This organisation was registered as a political party in 2023, but was later removed from the official register.

In June 2025, the Polish prosecution formed a large-scale indictment. Olshanski and his co-defendant Marcin Osadowski were charged with 142 counts relating to 78 episodes of unlawful conduct. The list of crimes includes threats of violence, offensive statements based on national and religious affiliation, and support for Russia's war against Ukraine.
