Conflict over asset distribution

Following the death of the renowned Soviet psychotherapist Anatoly Kashpirovsky, his relatives faced the issue of distributing a significant material inheritance. The deceased's body was transported from Russia and buried in Vinnytsia. Currently, a struggle over residential real estate in various countries and funds in bank accounts continues among Kashpirovsky's close ones.

According to Russian media reports, the sharpest confrontation has arisen between his 51-year-old illegitimate son, Serhiy, and his 54-year-old widow, Gulizar Chalbashova.

Dispute over the US estate

According to an insider, the most contentious item is an estate in the state of California, valued at $340,000. Serhiy Kashpirovsky claims that he purchased the house jointly with his father but registered it in his own name because he was in the process of divorcing his wife at the time.

The psychotherapist's son is convinced that Anatoly was supposed to re-register the documents in his name later. However, according to Serhiy, his father decided otherwise and left the heir with nothing.

The source noted that the property already owned by Kashpirovsky's son does not at all indicate a tight financial situation: «Через кілька місяців після покупки першого будинку поруч з’явився другий об’єкт приблизно за 300 тисяч доларів, теж пов’язаний із Сергієм. А в 2016 році він продав будинок, що належав йому, в Ла-Кінті за 450 тисяч доларів» (A few months after buying the first house, a second property appeared nearby for approximately $300,000, also associated with Serhiy. And in 2016, he sold the house that belonged to him in La Quinta for $450,000).

Other real estate in the inheritance

In addition to the American estate, the inheritance includes a two-room apartment in the Mitino district (Moscow). The deceased's wife, Gulizar, currently manages this property. The value of this housing is estimated at up to $366,000. Relatives also note that Anatoly Kashpirovsky had several apartments in Ukraine.

Serhiy Kashpirovsky is convinced that his father planned to leave the property to him but, under pressure from Gulizar, transferred everything to her. The man also links this situation to «надприродними силами» (supernatural forces) and states his intention to continue the fight for the fair receipt of the inheritance.

It is worth noting that Kashpirovsky has a younger child — a girl named Ellina, who is just over a year old. She was born in his third marriage to Gulizar.

Circumstances of death and burial

Anatoly Kashpirovsky died on 3 October in a Moscow hospital. A farewell ceremony took place in Russia on 8 October. Although the psychotherapist had expressed a wish to be cremated during his lifetime, his nephew reported that the body would be transported to Ukraine.

The burial took place on 13 October. Anatoly Kashpirovsky's grave is located in the Central Cemetery of Vinnytsia, next to the burial sites of his parents and daughter.
