UAF General Staff: 196 clashes in 24 hours, enemy deploys nearly 10,000 drones

Ukrainian defenders continue to repel attacks by Russian occupiers. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the 1707th day of the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression, 196 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.

Scale of enemy strikes

Over the last 24 hours, the enemy carried out one missile and 72 air strikes. During the air attacks, 247 guided aerial bombs were dropped. In addition, the aggressor deployed 9,679 suicide drones and carried out 2,518 shelling incidents targeting Ukrainian military positions and settlements. Of these shelling incidents, 12 were conducted using multiple launch rocket systems.

Dozens of villages under fire

Enemy shells and missiles hit numerous communities. In particular, Bezsalivka, Koriienok, Tovstodubove, Ulanove, Rohizne, Neskuchne, Bachivsk, Vovkivka, Hirky, Novovasylivka, Mykolaivka, Yastrubshchyna, Marchyshina Buda, Luzhky, Potapivka, Sopych, Kucherivka, Stara Huta, and Kharkivka in Sumy Oblast came under fire. Guta-Studenetska, Mykhalchyna-Sloboda, Karpovychi, Klyusy, Hirsyk, and Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv Oblast were also under fire. The settlement of Koriienok sustained an air strike.

Dynamics on key axes

On the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, the aggressor carried out one assault, struck from the air three times (using five guided aerial bombs), and shelled Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and settlements 44 times, using multiple launch rocket systems on two occasions.

On the South-Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian units successfully repelled six enemy attacks. Fighting continued in the areas of Volokhivske, Okhrimivka, Shabelne, and Chuhunivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted to improve its tactical position three times, conducting offensive operations towards Radkivka.

On the Lyman axis, defenders halted the enemy's attempts to break through the defence. Occupiers carried out seven assault operations towards Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiaziv, and Lyman.

Three attacks were recorded on the Sloviansk axis in the areas of Ozerne, Kryva Luka, and Mykolaivka. Meanwhile, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations on the Kramatorsk axis.

Intense fighting in the east

The highest number of attacks was recorded on the Pokrovsk axis — 26 attempts to advance. Occupiers attacked towards Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Vilne, Sviatohorivka, Svitlye, Myrne, Serhiivka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, and Filiya.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, 22 attacks were documented. The enemy conducted offensive operations in the area of Kostiantynivka and towards Oleksiyivka-Druzhkivka, Novosilivka, Raiske, Novopavlivka, Vilne, and Kucherov Yar.

On the Hulyaipil axis, occupiers attacked defender positions 15 times, attempting to advance towards Ternovate, Yehorivka, Rizdvyanka, Vozdvyzhivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Verkhnia Tsera, Hirka, and Charyivne.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, one assault towards Piddubne was recorded. The enemy did not carry out any assault operations on the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi axes. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.

Operations by Ukrainian forces

Over the past 24 hours, the missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck three areas of enemy personnel and equipment concentration.
