UAF General Staff: 167 clashes in 24 hours, fiercest fighting on Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes

General assessment of the situation

From 00:00 on 5 November, 167 combat clashes occurred along the front line. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy employed 50 airstrikes and dropped 161 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 4,873 suicide drones and carried out 1,677 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements.

Activity in the Sloviansk and Kupiansk sectors

On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the occupiers carried out two airstrikes, used four guided aerial bombs, and conducted 50 shelling attacks, one of which involved the use of multiple rocket launchers.

On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian units three times towards the settlement of Mala Vovcha and in the area of Okhrimivka. On the Kupiansk axis, one enemy assault was recorded towards Radkivka.

On the Lyman axis, Defence Forces repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance towards Stavky, Dibrova, and Zarechne. On the Sloviansk axis, two enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Yurkivka and Mykolaivka were halted. On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations.

Hottest points: Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk

On the Kostiantynivka axis, defenders repelled nine enemy assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, and towards Rozkishne.

The highest activity was recorded on the Pokrovsk axis, where the enemy carried out 14 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance near Vilne, Molodetske, and towards Kucheriv Yar, Dobropillia, Sviatohorivka, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. At the time of the summary, one combat clash on this axis was still ongoing.

Preliminary estimates indicate that enemy losses on the Pokrovsk axis amount to: 45 killed and 16 wounded. Twelve units of motor vehicle equipment, one electronic warfare system, five special means, three unmanned aerial vehicle control points, and 20 shelters were destroyed. Seven units of motor vehicle equipment, three artillery systems, one electronic warfare system, one special means, six UAV control points, and 157 shelters were damaged. Additionally, 242 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

Other front axes

On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations. On the Huliaipole axis, Defence Forces repelled seven attacks towards Yehorivka, Kosivtseve, Hirka, and near Dobropillia. On the Orikhiv axis, one enemy assault towards Lukianivske was recorded. On the Dnipro axis, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations.

No significant changes in the situation occurred on other axes.
