Ukrainian singer Anastasia Prykhodko publicly expressed her position on the current situation in the country. The artist emotionally characterised the course of the current leadership, stating: «Ми котимося в ж*пу з цим керівництвом» (We are rolling into the sh*t with this leadership).

Criticism of safety and economic recommendations

According to Prykhodko, the existing government policy raises concerns about the future. She drew attention to the fact that citizens are currently being urged to stock up on portable charging devices (power banks), while businesses are advised to build bomb shelters. The singer expressed doubts about the further development of events, predicting: «У 2027 році скажуть, що у вас має бути своя ППО, щоб ви могли працювати чи як?» (In 2027, they will say that you must have your own air defence system so that you can work or what?).

Gap between official statements and reality

The artist highlighted the dissonance between optimistic messages in the media and the actual state of affairs. «Я не розумію, чому влада по телевізору говорить, що все окей. Але ж я живу в цій країні. Той, хто живе тут, розуміє ж, що відбувається» (I do not understand why the authorities say on television that everything is okay. But I live in this country. Anyone who lives here understands what is happening), she emphasised.

Prykhodko noted that the population is under financial pressure: people are becoming poorer, business entities are ceasing operations, and many citizens lack the funds to purchase necessary medicines. She also drew attention to broken promises regarding pricing: «Ціни на газ і світло обіцяли не піднімати, а чому піднімають?» (They promised not to raise gas and electricity prices, so why are they being raised?).
