Historic goal in match against Kryvbas
Football statistics for the Ukrainian Premier League underwent significant changes following the conclusion of the 11th round match of the 2026/2027 season. Andriy Yarmolenko, who plays as a winger for Kyiv's Dynamo, scored a goal in the match against Kryvyi Rih's Kryvbas. This goal became the 125th for the 37-year-old footballer in the championships of independent Ukraine.
Advantage over the previous record holder
By converting a penalty, Yarmolenko removed all doubts about who is the best scorer in UPL history. He officially surpassed the historic result of former Dynamo striker Maksym Shatskykh. Shatskykh's tally remains at 124 goals, which is now the second-highest figure in this category.
