Russia used strike drones against Cherkasy region

In the night before Wednesday, 21 October, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out an attack using strike unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of Cherkasy region. The enemy targeted Uman.

Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the enemy strike.

Consequences of the strike on civilian facilities

According to regional authorities, several locations were affected as a result of the use of enemy weapons. A final report on the scale of destruction will be compiled after a thorough inspection of the impact sites is completed.

It is known that a private residential house was destroyed as a result of the attack. The fire that broke out at the scene has been extinguished. One person was injured. Medical assistance was provided to the victim at the scene, but the man refused hospitalisation.

In addition, enemy drones hit the building of a hypermarket and the adjacent territory, which also led to the outbreak of a fire.

At another location, a hotel was damaged by the shockwave.

All necessary emergency services are operating at the scene.
