GUR: Telegram remains key tool for disinformation and recruitment of Ukrainians

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine notes that the Telegram messenger continues to serve as a key instrument for spreading hostile disinformation and recruiting Ukrainian citizens into illegal activities in favour of the aggressor state.

Intelligence representative's position

This was announced by Andriy Yushov, a representative of the GUR of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. He emphasised that society has proven extremely vulnerable because a significant portion of citizens obtain news specifically from Telegram channels.
