Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff: 191 clashes in 24 hours, 30 enemy attacks on Pokrovsk direction

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released an operational report detailing the situation on the front as of 22:00 on 1 November 2026. Over the past 24 hours, 191 combat clashes were documented.

Scale of enemy weapon usage

The Russian army employed aviation and unmanned strike systems. In total, the enemy carried out 53 airstrikes, dropped 181 guided aerial bombs, and launched 4,724 suicide drones. Additionally, 1,744 shelling incidents targeting Ukrainian unit positions and populated areas were recorded.

Dynamics on northern and eastern front sections

On the North-Sloboda and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted two airstrikes, used six guided aerial bombs, and carried out 16 shelling incidents. On the South-Sloboda direction, Russian troops attacked Defence Forces positions eight times towards Ternova, Karaiychne, Zakharivka, Kolodyazne, as well as in the areas of Ustyinivka and Okhrimivka. Two clashes on this section were ongoing at the time the report was compiled.

On the Kupiansk direction, occupiers conducted three assault operations towards Radkivka and the city itself. On the Lyman direction, defenders repelled ten enemy attempts to advance towards Stepove, Zeleni Dolyna, and near Zarechne. On the Sloviansk direction, Defence Forces halted three enemy attempts to advance towards Mykolaivka, Orihuvatka, and in the area of Yurkivka. No assault operations were recorded on the Kramatorsk direction.

Intense fighting on Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions

On the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 enemy assaults in the area of Kostiantynivka and towards Oleksiyevo-Druzhivka, Mykolaipillia, Osykove, Raiske, Pavlivka, and Novopavlivka. Two combat clashes there were also ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops carried out 30 attacks. Occupiers attempted to advance near Sofiivka, Vilne, Svitle, Vodianske, Vasylivka, Molodetske, Udachne, as well as towards Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Myrne, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. Seven combat clashes on this direction remained active.

Enemy losses and destroyed equipment

Preliminary calculations by the General Staff indicate that over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian military personnel eliminated 81 Russian servicemen and wounded another 13 on the Pokrovsk direction. They also destroyed:

• 23 units of automotive equipment;
• one electronic warfare system;
• five special means;
• four shelters;
• a fuel and lubricants depot;
• a munitions depot.

Additionally, nine units of automotive equipment, three artillery systems, one special means, three drone control points, and 51 enemy shelters were damaged. A further 148 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

Situation on the southern flank

On the Oleksandrivka and Dnipro directions, Russian troops did not conduct assault operations. On the Hulyaipole direction, Defence Forces repelled six enemy attacks towards Yegorivka, Kopani, Hirke, and near Dobropillia. On the Orikhiv direction, occupiers carried out one assault operation towards Lukianivske. No significant changes in the situation were recorded on other sections of the front.
