UAF General Staff: 117 battles in 24 hours, enemy deployed 6,000 suicide drones

As of 22:00 on 24 October, 117 combat engagements took place along the front line. This data is contained in the official report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Air strikes and mass use of drones

In 24 hours, the enemy carried out 52 air strikes and dropped 173 guided aerial bombs. Russian forces also deployed 6,000 suicide drones to strike targets. 1,899 shelling incidents of settlements and Ukrainian unit positions were recorded.

Combat operations in Sloboda Ukraine and the centre of the front

On the North Sloboda and Kursk directions, the occupiers carried out two air strikes, used six guided aerial bombs, and conducted 42 shelling incidents.

On the South Sloboda direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defence Forces eight times towards the settlements of Ternova, Okhrimivka, and Bochkove. At the time of the report compilation, two of these attacks were still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted to improve its position three times, conducting assault operations towards Radkivka. On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance in the area of Zarechne and towards Stavky and Dibrova. On the Sloviansk direction, the Defence Forces halted three enemy offensive attempts near Kryva Luka.

No assault operations by the enemy were recorded on the Kramatorsk direction. However, on the Kostiantynivka direction, the Defence Forces repelled 11 assaults in the area of Kostiantynivka, with two attacks still ongoing at the time the report was published.

Enemy losses on the Pokrovsk direction

On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks, attempting to advance near Sofiivka, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Vasylivka, Krasnopodyllia, Serhiivka, and Molodetske.

Preliminary estimates indicate that 28 occupiers were eliminated and 8 were wounded on this direction today. Five vehicles and two special pieces of equipment were destroyed. One vehicle, one artillery system, one special piece of equipment, two UAV command posts, and 47 enemy shelters were damaged. Additionally, 146 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

Other front line directions

On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out one attack towards Zaporizhke. On the Huliaipole direction, the Defence Forces repelled nine attacks in the area of Dobropillia and towards Verkhnia Tersa, Kopani, Huliaipole, and Yehorivka. On the Orikhiv direction, one attempt by the occupiers to improve their positions towards Novoyakovlivka was recorded. On the Dnipro direction, the occupiers did not conduct any assault operations.

No significant changes in the situation occurred on other directions.
