Trust in state healthcare at a low level

A recent study by the company Europion Polska revealed serious issues regarding the sense of safety among patients in Polish state medical facilities. According to the data obtained, only 26% of respondents stated that they feel protected while staying in state hospitals. This means that the majority of the country's citizens have doubts about their own safety when receiving medical care.

The impact of staff burnout on treatment quality

One of the key problems highlighted by the survey results is the exhaustion of medical workers. More than a third of the study participants (35%) reported that staff burnout had negatively affected the treatment process of themselves or their family members at least once.

Who is to blame for excessive shifts

The question of the causes of excessively long working shifts for doctors divided public opinion. 32% of those surveyed believe that the responsibility lies with the medical professionals themselves, who voluntarily agree to the additional workload.

Support for strict working hour limits

Despite the potential consequences, 49% of the study participants support the introduction of strict limits on the duration of working hours for medical staff. Citizens demonstrate a willingness to accept compromises: they acknowledge that such measures may lead to longer waiting times for appointments and the closure of some hospital departments.
