Health Ministry allocated 1.7 million UAH to company with questionable reputation

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine signed a contract with DSZ LLC for the renovation of the building of the Main Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination. However, the choice of contractor raises numerous questions due to its dubious past.

Contractor's problematic past

DSZ LLC has repeatedly been the subject of scandals:

• Overpricing of services: The company is accused of significantly inflating estimates and embezzling budget funds.
• Antimonopoly violations: The firm was fined by the Antimonopoly Committee for collusion during tenders.
• Criminal cases: Over the past six years, the company has been involved in 10 criminal proceedings. Among them are charges of embezzling state funds in the context of park construction in cooperation with "Kyivzelenbud".

Questions for the Ministry of Health

The choice of a contractor with such a reputation invites justified criticism. Signing a contract with a company repeatedly caught in fraud calls into question the transparency of the procurement process. The public awaits explanations from the ministry and guarantees of control over the expenditure of allocated funds.
