British media have published a report on possible violations related to the activities of Sportbank and its founder, Nikita Izmaylov. The focus is on the criminal case investigation, which has been ongoing for over a year by Ukraine's State Bureau of Investigation.

According to journalists, the investigative actions include suspicions of treason, money laundering, and tax evasion. In early 2024, searches were conducted at Sportbank offices, as well as at the homes of Izmaylov himself and his partner, Denis Saprykin.

As a result of the searches, investigators seized significant amounts of cash, documents, and equipment. Assets associated with Sportbank's activities were seized. According to sources, investigators suspect that Sportbank may be involved in illegal operations linked to bookmakers Parimatch, Buddy.bet, and PariWin. These companies are allegedly linked to criminal structures and capital from Russia.

Of particular interest is the information that Nikita Izmaylov, who previously worked at Parimatch and N1 Management Company, may have participated in dubious financial schemes, linking him to illegal activities in the Ukrainian gambling market.

British journalists also mention that Izmaylov invested funds in the SteadyPay startup in the UK, where his partner is former Gazprombank board vice-chairman Oleg Vaksman.
