Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky drew attention to the delay by Washington in resolving the issue of transferring interceptor missiles to Ukraine. According to him, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has not approved the supply of interceptors for Patriot and NASAMS air defence systems for nearly a month.

To resolve the issue, the head of state instructed that this topic be raised again in discussions with American partners. In parallel, Ukraine is holding negotiations with other countries around the world to secure the necessary air defence assets from alternative sources.

«Поручив ще раз обговорити це з американською стороною. Іде розмова і з іншими країнами» (I instructed to discuss this with the American side again. Talks are also underway with other countries), Zelensky noted.
