Arrival in the German capital

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, accompanied by his team, has made a visit to Berlin. As the head of state stated in his address, his programme includes a series of important meetings. Specifically, negotiations are scheduled with the Chancellor and the President of Germany, as well as with the President of the Bundestag.

Key areas of cooperation

During his stay in Germany, Volodymyr Zelensky is also participating in this year's Berlin Security Conference. The parties are focusing primarily on three priority issues: diplomatic coordination, strengthening Ukraine's air defence systems, and providing support to the country's energy sector.

The President's position

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasised the shared interests in the sphere of security. "We are all interested in security, stability and the protection of the international order based on rules. And we must work together to ensure that these principles are translated into concrete decisions and actions," the President of Ukraine noted.

The head of state also expressed gratitude to Germany for its readiness to support Ukraine's defence and for the joint work.
