Washington allows import of Russian diesel fuel until 7 April

The United States of America has decided to temporarily ease sanctions restrictions. Specifically, the supply of Russian diesel fuel is now permitted. This measure has a limited duration — until 7 April.

Official statement from the Treasury

The US Department of the Treasury announced the establishment of such a temporary permit. In accordance with the decision adopted, the sanctions restrictions that previously prohibited trade in this type of fuel are lifted for a specified period.

Thus, until 7 April, an exception will be in effect, allowing for the supply of Russian diesel fuel.
