The authors of the alternative document include Roman Lozynskyi, Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, Solomiia Bobrovska, and Anton Yatsenko. A total of 18 MPs signed the initiative. This bill No. 16145-1 is positioned as an alternative to document No. 16145, which was registered earlier, on 13 October. The authorship team of the main project includes Olena Shulyak, Oleksandr Kachura, and Halyna Tretiakova.
According to the text of the main bill, the creation of a single self-regulatory organisation for real estate agents is envisaged. It is assigned the functions of controlling the certification of specialists, accreditation, maintaining a professional register, and applying disciplinary procedures.
In addition, the document establishes the mandatory nature of membership in this organisation and the need to pay the corresponding fees.
The Association of Real Estate Specialists, whose representatives participated in the preparation of the main bill, expressed concern about the risks of market monopolisation and the presence of possible corrupt factors. The association emphasised that their remarks on the text of the document were not taken into account.
The consideration of both versions of the bills is to be carried out by the relevant parliamentary committee, which is chaired by Olena Shulyak.
