Drone damages five houses and severs power line in Cherkasy region

Consequences of the drone strike

Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military and Civil Administration, provided information on infrastructure and housing damage resulting from a Russian drone attack. According to him, the strike hit the territory of the Korsun-Shevchenkivska hromada in Cherkasy district.

Preliminary data indicates that the destruction was caused by the fall of debris from the enemy UAV and the impact of the shockwave. As a result of the incident, five residential houses and approximately ten outbuildings were damaged. A power line was also severed.

Condition of the injured and emergency services' actions

A 62-year-old woman required medical assistance. Doctors diagnosed her with an acute stress reaction, but hospitalisation was not prescribed.

Currently, an inspection of the area is underway at the scene. An emergency power crew is working to restore electricity, while the hromada's municipal services have begun priority repair work.
