Military issue wanted notice

Representatives of the 38th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Lviv activist Ostap Stakhiv deserted the training centre of the Naval Forces. According to military sources, a wanted notice has been issued for the man.

It is noted that the activist was mobilised on 31 October. However, shortly after arriving, he left the training site without proper authorisation. It is also reported that on the same day, 31 October, he was taken to the territorial recruitment centre, where he was informed of his status as a wanted person.

Activist's reaction

Ostap Stakhiv himself published a video address, which was passed on through acquaintances. In the recording, he stated that he had been "kidnapped" because of his "pro-peace stance". The activist emphasised that he does not consider himself mobilised and stated that he is currently returning to Lviv.
