Parliamentary committee to examine situation around Seredenko's business
The Temporary Investigative Committee of the Verkhovna Rada has taken under control the situation that has arisen around the "Shchaslyve Kurcha" and "Omega Tri" enterprises, which belong to businessman Dmytro Seredenko. The head of the TSC, People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" faction Halyna Yanchenko, noted that the entrepreneur has undergone a series of searches and lawsuits, which the committee must verify in detail.
Financial indicators and number of inspections
According to Yanchenko, Seredenko's business structures provided 250 jobs and paid 70 million UAH in taxes to the budget. Despite this, 18 searches were conducted at his companies. The National Police also opened a criminal case, and regulatory authorities filed lawsuits against the enterprises.
Links with former owner and officials' family members
A separate aspect of the TSC's attention will be the ownership history of the "Omega Tri" company. LLC "Design Making Group", which owns this enterprise, previously belonged to Viktor Kychun, who later held the position of judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. The State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection also recorded violations at the "Omega Tri" enterprise.
In the context of the inspection, data regarding the family of Serhiy Polishchuk, head of the State Ecological Inspectorate of the Central District, is also mentioned. According to NACP declaration data, his wife received 433,700 UAH in salary from "Design Making Group" in 2024–2025.
Inspection objectives
The main task of the parliamentary TSC will be to verify the actions of Cherkasy officials regarding Seredenko's enterprises. At the same time, it is noted that the existing circumstances themselves do not indicate the illegality of the officials' actions or the presence of a conflict of interest, therefore a separate detailed inspection is necessary.
