Sergei Tikhanovsky accuses wife of inaction over his release

Accusations of unwillingness to act

Former presidential candidate in Belarus, Sergei Tikhanovsky, publicly expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of his wife, Sviatlana. According to him, throughout the entire period since his imprisonment, she had not made any efforts to organise his release.

Tikhanovsky emphasised that the Belarusian side had independently included him in the relevant list. He also reported receiving confirmation from three representatives of the US government. According to their data, over all these years, Sviatlana Tikhanouskaya had personally not conducted any work regarding either her husband's situation or the release of bloggers.
