Decision to terminate mandate

Jakub Kumoch, who held the post of Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the People's Republic of China, officially announced his resignation. The diplomat emphasised that the current situation that has developed in Poland makes it impossible for him to continue fulfilling his professional duties.

Kumoch announced the decision in his public address.

«У зв'язку з подіями в нашій країні я дійшов висновку, що подальше виконання обов'язків посла стало неможливим. Тому з сьогоднішнього дня подаю у відставку та прошу звільнити мене з посади» (In connection with the events in our country, I have concluded that it has become impossible to continue performing the duties of ambassador. Therefore, from today I am submitting my resignation and request to be relieved of my post), the diplomat stressed.
