Former Prosecutor General Kravchenko expressed the conviction that the actions of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) against the leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine constitute an act of political revenge. According to him, these measures are aimed at destabilising the general situation in the state.
“NABU is conducting raids on three SBU employees whose units were handling criminal cases against NABU Director Semyon Krivonos and the closest circle of SAP Head Oleksandr Klymenko, including members of his family. The actions of NABU and SAP are nothing other than political revenge and attempts to destabilise the situation in the country,” Kravchenko emphasised.

It is known that it was precisely after the first wave of arrests at the Prosecutor General's Office within the framework of the “Carthage” case that Kravchenko left the country.
