Vovchansk direction: enemy ramps up suicide drone use and employs them for supply delivery

Attempt to break through before cold weather sets in

On the Vovchansk axis of combat operations, the adversary is demonstrating increasing activity, attempting to achieve certain tactical goals before the onset of the autumn-winter period. This was stated by Dmytro Dyukarev, an officer of the "Apex" unmanned systems unit, which is part of the "Forpost" Brigade.

According to the military officer, although the enemy is not achieving significant success, its units regularly carry out assault attempts. The situation is complicated for the Russians due to the gradual disappearance of vegetation, which makes their cover less effective.

Elimination of infiltration groups

Dmytro Dyukarev spoke about specific cases of attempts to penetrate Ukrainian positions. Two such incidents were recorded this week: one group consisted of two people, and the other of five. Both groups were completely eliminated by the defence forces.

Changes in logistics and UAV application tactics

The enemy is also demonstrating changes in its approach to the use of unmanned aircraft. In particular, an increase in the potential of suicide drones equipped with optical fibres has been recorded, as well as a general transformation in UAV application tactics.

Instead of exclusively combat tasks, the adversary has begun using drones to solve logistical problems. As explained by Dmytro Dyukarev, the enemy is massively using aircraft to deliver material resources to its positions.
