Koretskyi: Russia has delivered over 2,000 strikes on Ukraine's energy sector in three months

Scale of attacks on the power grid

Prime Minister Koretskyi stated that over the past three months, the Russian Federation has delivered more than 2,000 strikes on energy sector facilities. According to him, the number of attacks on the power grid has increased several-fold this year compared to last year.

Daily attacks since 16 July

The head of the government emphasised that there has not been a single day without attacks on the energy sector since 16 July, when he assumed the post of Prime Minister.

Importance of protective structures

Koretskyi underscored the importance of constructing protective structures at energy facilities. He noted:

«Якби така кількість ударів припала на незахищену інфраструктуру, то без світла і води ми залишилися б набагато раніше» (If such a number of strikes had fallen on unprotected infrastructure, we would have been left without light and water much earlier).
