Court ruling on IDS Ukraine assets

The Dnipropetrovsk District Administrative Court issued a ruling temporarily prohibiting the Agency for the Restoration and Management of Assets (ARMA) from transferring key assets of the company IDS Ukraine to the winner of the relevant competition. These restrictions apply, in particular, to the well-known mineral water brands "Morshynska" and "Myrhorodska".

What exactly is prohibited for the agency

In accordance with the ruling of Judge Eduard Yurkov, ARMA and its officials are prohibited from concluding a management agreement with the selection winner — LLC "Legal Bureau Prioritas". The agency is also prohibited from signing an asset handover act with this company.

Reasons and the plaintiff

According to media reports, these measures were applied by the court to secure the claim until the case is heard on the merits. The initiator of the court proceedings was LLC "Yubileyny" meat processing plant, which also claimed its rights to manage the former assets of Russian oligarch Mikhail Fridman.

The IDS Ukraine assets subject to the legal dispute include, in particular, the trademarks "Morshynska" and "Myrhorodska".
