Accusations of links with the US

Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, who previously called for the start of peace negotiations with Russia, has become the target of accusations. Several Telegram channels associated with the Presidential Office have accused the politician of collaborating with Donald Trump's team.

According to these sources, Honcharenko's calls for peace are driven by the Trump administration's desire to agree on a peace deal before the Congressional elections.

“Terms hidden from the people”

In response to these accusations, the MP stated that he is aware of specific terms for resolving the conflict being offered to Kyiv during contacts with representatives of Trump's team. He emphasised that he is convinced Ukrainians would accept these proposals.

«Я знаю умови переговорів. В Офісі президента бояться говорити з людьми і прямо повідомляти, чого від нас вимагають і яким чином можна завершити війну. На жаль, я не можу озвучувати ці умови мирної угоди, але впевнений, що українці на них погодилися б. Ми надто багато втратили і надто багато втрачаємо, щоб продовжувати це самогубство. Потрібно закінчувати війну» (I know the terms of the negotiations. The Presidential Office is afraid to speak to people and directly inform them of what is being demanded of us and how the war can be ended. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose these terms of the peace deal, but I am convinced that Ukrainians would agree to them. We have lost too much and are losing too much to continue this suicide. The war needs to end), Honcharenko said.
