Fire Point uses lard to protect drones from low temperatures
Ukrainian company Fire Point uses natural lard to protect certain components of unmanned aerial vehicles from the effects of low temperatures.
According to the company, at temperatures around −20 °C, some drone elements, particularly cameras and cables, may freeze. The cold also affects battery performance, causing them to lose charge faster.
A layer of lard is used as an additional protective material for sensitive components. It helps insulate them from the cold and reduces the impact of low temperatures on equipment operation.
