Restoration of air traffic in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia announced that its main airport is once again operating in both-terminal mode. This occurred on Sunday, despite warnings from Iran-linked Yemeni Houthis about their intention to continue attacks on the facility. The militants emphasised that the airport remains a "military target" for them.

Consequences of the previous strike

It was previously reported that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh suspended its operations on 10 October. The cause was an attack for which the Houthis took responsibility. Thirteen people died as a result of this incident. According to media reports, it was the deadliest case on the territory of the kingdom in over 10 years.

Current security situation

Meanwhile, it is noted that on Sunday, Saudi forces again intercepted a wave of missiles and drones. This indicates that hostilities in the region are continuing.
