South Korea confirms capture of North Korean soldiers

Ukrainian forces captured two North Korean soldiers, according to South Korean intelligence. Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky published photos of the prisoners, as well as a military ID card found on one of them.

According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), a Russian-style document issued to a resident of Tuva was found on one of the prisoners, while the second soldier had no identification documents.

Media reports have emerged suggesting that Russia may have provided the North Korean soldiers with forged documents to conceal their participation in hostilities on the side of the Russian Federation.

This incident is further evidence of Russia's efforts to secure international support, despite sanctions and its diplomatic isolation.
