Court orders full audit of Irpin MP Alexander Pikulik's asset declarations

A court has ordered a full audit of the asset declarations of Alexander Pikulik, a member of the Irpin City Council. Previously, activists published an investigation revealing undeclared assets belonging to the MP, valued at hundreds of millions of hryvnia.

According to the materials, Pikulik acquired approximately 40 real estate properties, luxury cars, and invested multi-million sums in the charter capitals of several companies over the past few years. 

In addition, it was disclosed that his mother spent 32 million hryvnia on the purchase of around 10 apartments in an elite residential complex in Irpin and 15 million hryvnia on commercial real estate.

Pikulik's name has been repeatedly linked to scandals. In 2020, police detained him for driving under the influence of alcohol, and he later opened fire with a ceremonial weapon in a restaurant in Irpin. The incident sparked a negative reaction, and Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivshchyna party, stated her intention to strip him of his mandate.
