Fires in Russian industrial zone after drone attack

Residents of several settlements reported fires in the area of industrial facilities located approximately 330 kilometres from the Ukrainian border.

Social media reports indicated that drones attacked a facility located near the Dedilovo railway station, as well as an oil depot in the vicinity of the town of Uznovaya.

The region’s governor, Dmitry Milyaev, stated that a tank containing fuel and lubricants caught fire following a strike on one of the facilities. 

He clarified that, despite the fires, there were no casualties. Russian air defence systems are operational, shooting down drones directed towards the territory.

Nevertheless, residents of local settlements continue to observe flames and smoke visible from various parts of these areas.
