The scheme was actually quite simple. The cash-out operators used the passport details of several hundred people, which had been obtained from a Forex pyramid scheme. In other words, people had provided their details to earn money, but in the end, they only earned themselves problems. They had simply been set up.
Many of them unexpectedly discovered that they had become founders of companies owing the state millions.
