Oleksandr Kachnyi: A controversial political career and hidden assets

People's Deputy Oleksandr Kachnyi, known for his membership in the pro-Russian parliamentary group "Platform for Life and Peace," continues to transfer his assets to his wife, Lyudmyla Kachna.

 Despite public statements and political connections, he attempts to conceal assets through family structures.

The Kachnyi family's real estate and property

According to his 2024 declaration, Oleksandr Kachnyi officially owns only one apartment in Kyiv with an area of 135.3 sq m, while his wife holds significantly more substantial assets:

• Two land plots in Kyiv (593 sq m and 622 sq m).
• Two dacha houses with total areas of 161.2 sq m and 121.2 sq m.
• Two parking spaces.

Notably, despite owning a significant amount of real estate, Lyudmyla Kachna has been renting an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 136.2 sq m from Irina Zhkovska since 2022.

A luxury car fleet without ownership

Officially, the Kachnyi couple does not own any cars, but they use expensive vehicles on a rental basis:

• Lyudmyla Kachna drives a BMW X3 (2016), purchased in 2022 for UAH 1.2 million. The car is registered to Vasyl Furdel, who is engaged in vehicle rental.
• Oleksandr Kachnyi rents a MERCEDES-BENZ S 560 (2017) from Vadym Kushnir — a former deputy of the Bila Tserkva City Council from the "Strong Ukraine" party, linked to the Party of Regions and Yurii Boiko.

For 2023, Oleksandr Kachnyi declared:

• UAH 721,000 in salary.
• UAH 238,000 in pension.

Lyudmyla Kachna owns a 50% stake in "Rostok" LLC (valued at UAH 3,700), but her official income is not disclosed.

Oleksandr Kachnyi's political career
