185 clashes in a day: Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest point on the front

As of 22:00 on 26 October 2026, 185 combat encounters were recorded along the front line. The most tense situation developed in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy continues to deliver the highest number of strikes and conduct assault operations.

Large-scale use of aviation and UAVs

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the course of the day, the enemy carried out 48 aviation strikes, dropping 155 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the occupiers deployed 6,385 suicide drones and conducted 2,007 shelling incidents targeting populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.

Dynamics in other directions

In the North-Sloboda and Kursk directions, one aviation strike, the use of two guided aerial bombs, and 37 shelling incidents were recorded since the start of the day, two of which were carried out using multiple rocket launchers.

In the South-Sloboda direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units six times towards the populated areas of Volokhivske, Okhrimivka, Shabelne, and Chuhunivka. Two of these attacks were still ongoing at the time the data was received.

In the Kupiansk area, the enemy attempted to improve its positions three times, conducting assault operations towards Radkivka. Fighting in this direction continues.

In the Lyman direction, Defence Forces repelled seven attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiaziv, and Lyman. One enemy attack is ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, defenders halted three enemy attempts to move forward in the area of Ozerne, Kryva Luka, and Mykolaivka. One enemy assault operation remains active.

No assault operations were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction over the past day.

Intense fighting in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Defence Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults. Combat actions took place in the area of Kostiantynivka and towards Oleksiyovo-Druzhkivka, Novosilivka, Raiske, Novopavlivka, Vilne, and Kucherovo Yar. One enemy assault operation is ongoing.

The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest point, where the enemy carried out 25 attacks. Occupiers attempted to advance near the populated areas of Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Vilne, Sviatohorivka, Svitle, Myrne, Serhiivka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, and Filiya. Three attacks in this direction are still ongoing.

Enemy losses

Preliminary estimates indicate that 45 occupiers were killed in the Pokrovsk direction today, with another five wounded. Six units of vehicle equipment, one special piece of equipment, and four shelters were destroyed. Four units of vehicle equipment and 40 enemy shelters were damaged. Additionally, 146 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out one attack towards Piddubne. In the Hulyaipole direction, Defence Forces repelled ten enemy attacks towards the populated areas of Rizdvyanka, Vozdvizhivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Verkhnia Tsera, Hirke, and Charyivne. Fighting here continues.

No assault operations were conducted in the Orikhiv and Prydniprov directions. No significant changes in the situation occurred in other sections of the front.
