Day 1717 of the war: 188 clashes, dozens of assaults repelled, enemy drone control points hit

General picture of hostilities

Ukraine is on day 1717 of Russia's large-scale armed aggression. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 188 combat clashes were recorded in the past 24 hours.

During the day, the enemy carried out 79 airstrikes and dropped 235 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the adversary deployed 7,093 suicide drones and carried out 2,794 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

Missile and air exchange

The aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defence Forces hit two areas of enemy troop and equipment concentration. Four artillery systems and three enemy drone control points were also struck.

Numerous populated areas came under enemy fire. These include: Korenyok, Neskuchne, Khrapivshchyna, Bachivsk, Ulanove, Fotovysh, Bezsalivka, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Iskriskivshchyna, Mala Korchakivka, Korchakivka, Myropillia, Yastrubshchyna, Novokostiantynivka, Pysarivka, Kucherivka, Shalyhine, Vovkivka, Oleksiivka, Khotin, Rohizne, Nova Sich, Hirky, Mohrytsia, Mariine, Sadky, Otruba, Zarychchia, Malushyne, Krovne, Yunakivka, Andriivka, and Kyndrativka (Sumy region), as well as Mykhalchyna-Sloboda (Chernihiv region). Esmen and Kyianychia were subjected to airstrikes.

Dynamics on specific fronts

On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, the aggressor carried out two airstrikes, using four guided aerial bombs, and conducted 185 shelling attacks, five of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.

On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Ukrainian units repelled four enemy attacks towards Mala Vovcha and in the areas of Okhrimivka and Vovchansky Khutory.

In the Kupiansk sector, the occupiers carried out two assault operations towards Radkivka. On the Lyman direction, attempts to breach the defence were repelled: the enemy attacked three times towards Stavky, Dibrova, and near Zarychne.

On the Sloviansk direction, two attacks were recorded in the areas of Yurkivka and Mykolaivka. Meanwhile, on the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations.

Intense fighting in the east

On the Kostiantynivka direction, 11 attacks occurred in 24 hours. The invaders conducted offensive operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, and towards Rozkishne.

On the Pokrovsk direction, 16 attacks were recorded. The occupiers attempted to advance near Vilne, Molodetske, and towards Kucheriv Yar, Dobropillia, Sviatohorivka, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.

On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations. However, on the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy attacked the defenders' positions nine times, attempting to advance towards Yehorivka, Kosevtseve, Hirka, and near Dobropillia.

On the Orikhiv direction, one attack was recorded towards Lukianivske. On the Dnipro direction, there were no assaults. On the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
