The High Anti-Corruption Court (HAC) ruled on changing the preventive measure for Ihor Myroniuk, who previously held the position of advisor to the energy minister. The investigating judge supported the motion and placed the suspect under 24-hour house arrest.
According to Transparency International Ukraine, this decision was made due to the expiry of the maximum period of detention in custody at the pre-trial investigation stage. Myroniuk spent the longest time behind bars among all defendants in the case — nearly a year.
