Kharkiv developer Yegor Maslennikov, previously involved in completing the unfinished construction projects of Maksym Mykytas's "Ukrbud," has disappeared, leaving thousands of investors without housing or funds. According to sources, the businessman's whereabouts are unknown, which complicates the recovery of funds.

How "StroyCity" emerged

"StroyCity Development" was founded in February 2020. Yegor Maslennikov is listed as the sole official owner. He began his career in the banking sector but has been engaged in construction since 2010. Among his projects in Kharkiv are the "Viennese House" and "Park Quarter" residential complexes, while in Kyiv, he developed "Kyivskyi Maiatok."

Maslennikov also participated in the creation of the "IT Park Manufactura," which sparked a scandal due to the demolition of a historic building.

Connection with Oleg Shiryayev

Shiryayev, a well-known Kharkiv activist and former commander of the "Eastern Corps," collaborated with Maslennikov. There is no official evidence of his involvement in "StroyCity," but their joint projects raise suspicions.

Hostile takeover and corruption schemes

Maksym Mykytas stated that Maslennikov acquired rights to two unfinished "Ukrbud" projects—the "Crystal House" and "Park Valley" residential complexes—through connections with Iryna Venediktova, the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Venediktova allegedly used her position to lobby for Maslennikov's interests.

Money leak and escape

Maslennikov fled abroad, leaving investors with debts. Law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation, but no results have been obtained yet. Perhaps he should be sought where his patrons are located.
