The head of government emphasised that there are no alternative scenarios for the development of events, and that eliminating the consequences of years of lawlessness is inevitably linked to decisive, albeit painful, steps.

“There is no other way. After many years of lawlessness, this is a complex, sometimes painful process that requires decisive action,” Tusk stressed.

The remarks by the head of the Polish government came against the backdrop of escalating tensions around the Constitutional Tribunal.
