The US side provided an explanation for why intelligence on the missile launch in the night of 13 October did not reach Kyiv. As Politico notes, citing a source, the US pointed to "adverse weather conditions" as the main obstacle to information gathering.

Ukrainian side's reaction

In Kyiv, this reason is not considered sufficient. The publication's interlocutor added that this causes concern among many.
