Confiscation of food and accusations of conspiracy

Russian occupiers are seizing food packages from residents of the temporarily occupied Oleshky, which Ukrainian military personnel deliver using unmanned aerial vehicles. As Tetyana Hasanenko, head of the Oleshky City Military Administration, reported, the presence of non-Russian products in a home can serve as grounds for accusing locals of collaborating with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details of the latest delivery

According to Hasanenko, Ukrainian fighters have repeatedly transferred humanitarian aid to community residents via drones. The most recent operation was the largest in volume: approximately four tonnes of food were dropped for the people. Although some residents received one or several packages, the aid did not reach everyone. It was at that point that the occupiers began active measures to confiscate this food.

Russian troops pay particular attention to the origin of the products. If the food is not of Russian manufacture, people are required to explain where they obtained it. The occupiers claim that receiving such aid is evidence of collaboration with the Ukrainian army.

The problem of missing people

In addition to the confiscation of food, the process of people disappearing continues in the Oleshky community, with Russian troops allegedly abducting them, according to local authorities. Tetyana Hasanenko spoke about a case where an entire family went missing after being taken by the occupiers. At present, the whereabouts of these people and their subsequent fate remain unknown.
