Messages have appeared in the enemy's information field in Kherson that may indicate preparations for possible provocations against the backdrop of the active ceasefire regime. Residents of the city were reminded of the need to maintain maximum vigilance.

Details of the threat and timeframes

This was announced by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration. He recalled that the declared ceasefire regime came into force on 27 October at 03:00 and will remain in effect until 22:59 on 1 November 2026. Despite this, provocative publications have already begun to appear in Russian media, which are likely intended to create a pretext for a possible violation of the agreements.

Appeals to residents

Yaroslav Shanko emphasised that the threat from Russian forces does not disappear even during the ceasefire period. That is why he urged Kherson citizens to be particularly cautious on 1 November.

To preserve their own lives and health, residents are advised to:

  • avoid places where large crowds gather, if possible;
  • not visit so-called "red zones" and areas with an elevated risk level;
  • strictly comply with air raid alerts and not ignore warnings about the threat of drone attacks;
  • not leave shelters and safe premises without urgent need.

The head of the CMA also emphasised the importance of a calm attitude towards the situation: not to succumb to panic, to approach issues of personal safety responsibly, and to rely exclusively on official and verified sources of information.
