Journalists from the Polish TV channel TVP Info have released the results of an investigation into the activities of the online poker platform GGPoker. Experts were drawn to mechanisms for bypassing blocks within Poland, methods for attracting local players, and potential chains linking illegal gambling to Russian business.
At the centre of attention is a citizen of the Russian Federation, whom Ukrainian law enforcement agencies accuse of organising gambling without proper licences and money laundering. The material also mentions partner (affiliate) networks through which users may be redirected to gaming resources, with their owners receiving a commission for each new client.
A separate episode of the investigation is dedicated to the company Pin-Up. Representatives of the media group attended an affiliate conference in Warsaw, where representatives of the aforementioned structure were present. Journalists also showed Pin-Up's Warsaw office, business contacts, and documents containing the company's logo.
Meanwhile, in response to press questions, Pin-Up representatives denied any connection with the Ukrainian company that bears the same name.
Oleksiy Kuprienko, co-founder of the Ukrainian initiative Don’t Fund Russian Army, stated that the Ukrainian investigation into the activities of individuals linked to Pin-Up covered, among other things, their work in temporarily occupied territories. According to him, Ukrainian authorities confiscated 2.6 billion UAH.
The DFRA initiative links this investigation to Ivan Bryksin. According to the organisation, his name appears in Ukrainian criminal proceedings. Specifically, this refers to a case by the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB) regarding the activities of GGPoker/PokerOK, registered in December 2025.
The material separately mentions Dmitry Punin, who is the beneficial owner of Pin-Up. He is under sanctions. It is known that through Ukrainian courts, Punin is attempting to have publications about his possible links to Pin-Up and Russian business removed.
